Virginia Sales Tax Holiday 2013

Did you know we have another VA sales tax holiday coming up? May 25 - 31, 2013. This is the "hurricane and emergency preparedness equipment" one, so items like: batteries, artificial ice, portable lighting (flashlights and self powered lanterns) self powered radios, rope, fire extinguishers, fuel tanks, food storage coolers, bottled water and more. There are actually 3 planned for this year so take a look at each and perhaps plan your own shopping around them to save every dollar you can. Need a new cooler for summer? How about replacing that old fire extinguisher? Do you have enough bottled water packed away in a safe place just in case? Get it while it's tax free!  Not in Virginia?
